Hi Petrus, my approach is always to use this road as it puts me in the bush earlier. The road is ok depending on the speed you drive at and type of vehicle. Small sedan with low profile, rather go via Upington. I drive a bakkie so alway use this road. You can these days cross into Botswana and travel vie an excellent tar road all along the border towards Middleputs and re-enter SA there, then only a short drive to TR
